We have to make connections!
Brain researchers have discovered that our brains are geniuses at “decoding”—our brains constantly search for patterns and associations between what we already know and new information.
It’s like how we make friends—by discovering what we have in common. We connect over mutual relationships, hobbies, Bible studies, homeschooling, gardening, sports. . . What we have in common, even if we’ve just met, builds a connection between us.
In the same way, when it comes to learning anything new, we make connections between that new information and something we already know. Forming a solid connection is essential for learning well!
Homeschool Mom of a Graduating Senior
Diana Waring’s World Empires, World Missions, World Wars was the perfect choice for our college-bound high school senior. Diana’s unique, multidimensional approach brings the subject alive in ways other textbooks cannot, and transformed history from one of our son’s least favorite subjects into something he truly loves. World Empires helps him relate historical events to advances in technology, science, and the arts, and opens the door for discussions that transcend mere history lessons. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Susan S., attorney, author, and homeschooler
History Revealed is ideal for families:
- with college-bound students,
- with artistic children,
- with special gifts and special needs kids,
- with those who love history and those who don’t,
- with those who desire to have their whole family learn history together.
